Jenny Allen's Fruit Salad

Ingredients

½ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard

1 teaspoon white sugar

½ teaspoon kosher salt

¼ teaspoon ground white pepper

1 pinch ground black pepper

1 head romaine lettuce

torn into bite-size pieces

½ small red onion

½ cup fresh blueberries

½ cup sliced toasted almonds

1 (3 ounce) can mandarin oranges

drained

4 strawberries

sliced (or more to taste)

Step 1

Whisk oil lemon juice mustard sugar salt white pepper and black pepper together in a bowl until smooth.

Step 2

Toss lettuce onion blueberries almonds mandarin oranges and strawberries together in a large bowl. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss to coat.
