½ cup butter

softened

½ cup shortening

⅔ cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

⅔ cup cold evaporated milk

In a large bowl cream butter shortening sugar and vanilla for 8 to 10 minutes. With mixer on high add cold evaporated milk 1 tablespoon at a time.

Step 2

Frost cake as desired and keep refrigerated.
