Braunschweiger and Nut Ball

Cinco de Mayo - Appetizer and Snack

My grandmother made this appetizer for family get togethers ever since I was a child, and I now make it every Christmas Eve for the family. It's very easy to make and even the kids like it. I have used chopped pecans, but the walnuts are my favorite. Serve with crackers.

Braunschweiger and Nut Ball

Ingredients

1 pound braunschweiger liver sausage

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

softened

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 pound chopped walnuts

Jalapeno and Cucumber Margarita

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl mix the braunschweiger cream cheese Worcestershire sauce and 1/3 of the walnuts by hand. Form into a ball and refrigerate 30 minutes or until firm. Roll in the remaining walnuts to coat. Refrigerate until serving.
