Simple Slow Cooker Irish Stew Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

or as needed

2 pounds cubed beef stew meat

6 potatoes

peeled and diced

4 medium yellow onions

sliced

1 ½ cups water

2 beef bouillon cubes

salt and ground black pepper to taste

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil. Cook stew meat until browned on all side 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 2

Transfer browned meat to the insert of a slow cooker. Add potatoes onion water bouillon cubes salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cover and cook on Low power for 8 hours.
