Cajun-Style Shrimp and Rice

1 (14 ounce) can low-sodium chicken broth

1 cup chopped onion

1 green bell pepper

¼ cup water

2 cloves garlic

½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1 pound cooked shrimp

peeled and deveined

¾ cup uncooked instant rice
