Johnsonville Italian Sausage, Onions and Peppers Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

1 (22 ounce) package frozen Johnsonville® Mild Italian Sausage Slices

1 medium green bell pepper

thinly sliced

1 medium red bell pepper

thinly sliced

1 medium onion

thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic

minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil

garlic and oregano

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 Hoagie or sub rolls

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet saute the sausage peppers onion and garlic in oil until vegetables are tender about 10 minutes.

Step 2

Add tomatoes and pepper flakes. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through.

Step 3

Serve on rolls if desired.
