  Farmer's Market Turmeric Tea Recipe   
1 (2 inch) piece fresh turmeric root
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper 
 
 Drinks 
Step 1 Bring water to a boil in a pot. Stir in turmeric and pepper. Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer until flavors meld about 10 minutes. Step 2 Strain into a heat-resistant glass container. Serve hot or cold flavoring with honey and lemon juice.
