Cream Cheese Cookies III Recipe

Ingredients

⅓ cup butter

⅓ cup packed brown sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup chopped walnuts

8 ounces cream cheese

¼ cup white sugar

1 egg

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Step 2

Cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and nuts. Pat into a 9 x 9 pan. (Reserve some for top.) Bake for 12 minutes.

Step 3

Cream together cream cheese sugar and add remaining ingredients Pour on top of crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool.
