Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

1 (6 pound) rump roast

3 cups water

2 tablespoons dried basil

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

3 bay leaves

1 ½ teaspoons red pepper flakes

⅓ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Combine roast water basil oregano salt garlic powder parsley flakes bay leaves red pepper flakes and black pepper together in a slow cooker.

Step 2

Cook in the slow cooker set to Low for 8 to 10 hours. Remove bay leaves and shred meat using two forks.
