Apple Spice Rice Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup long grain rice

½ cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic

minced

1 small tart apple - peeled

cored and diced

½ cup golden raisins

1 ½ cups chicken broth

Arroz Verde (Green Rice with Cilantro)

Step 1

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in rice onion garlic apple and raisins. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 16 to 18 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
