1 pound lean ground beef

4 carrots

peeled and chopped

2 large onions

chopped

1 parsnip

peeled and chopped

1 sweet potato

peeled and chopped

1 cup water

2 (1.2 ounce) packages dry brown gravy mix

2 envelopes onion gravy mix

2 packets beef bouillon

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried thyme
