2 tablespoons fresh corn kernels

2 teaspoons softened butter

divided

salt and ground black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon mayonnaise

or to taste

2 thick slices Italian bread

2 slices honey ham

2 slices honey turkey

1 slice Lacy Swiss cheese

1 slice Amish Swiss cheese

1 slice American cheese

2 tablespoons shredded Cheddar cheese

or to taste

1 Roma tomato

seeded and chopped

1 tablespoon chopped sweet onion

1 green onion

chopped

Step 1

Mix corn kernels with 1 teaspoon butter salt and pepper in a small bowl.

Step 2

Spread 1/2 teaspoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise over 1 bread slice; flip. Layer honey ham turkey ham Lacy Swiss cheese Amish Swiss cheese American cheese and Cheddar cheese on top. Cover with corn mixture tomato sweet onion and green onion. Cover with second slice of bread. Spread remaining 1/2 teaspoon butter and 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise on the outside.

Step 3

Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat. Cook sandwich until cheeses melt and bread turns golden brown about 6 minutes per side.
